The Lonsdale mortgage advice service is simple and straightforward. You can meet a Lonsdale mortgage broker, but we can also manage the mortgage advice process on the phone, as it is quicker and will save you time.
Call the Lonsdale mortgage broking team for mortgage advice
When you contact our St Albans mortgage broking team we will assess your circumstances and agree which type of mortgage will best meet your requirements. Once we have decided which type of product you require we can review the mortgage market for you.
We work with you to complete the mortgage application form which can be complicated if you are doing it yourself. We ask you for documentation to support your application, for example P60’s, passport ID or accounts for the self-employed. We then send the application to the lender who can give an agreement in principle and report back to you by phone or email.
Visit the Lonsdale Mortgages website for a full list of all the documents you may need to show the lender. The lender will also do a credit score check.
When the lender is satisfied that the mortgage is underwritten, they have the valuation or survey results and the other necessary paperwork a mortgage offer will be sent out in the post to yourself and your solicitor.
Amy Kadir, Lonsdale Mortgage Broker in our St Albans mortgage broking team said:
‘Lonsdale Mortgages do not typically charge a fee for their services, we receive commission from the provider except in instances where we organise additional borrowing for a client with their existing lender, as some providers do not offer commission. Our clients find that using a mortgage broker saves them time, and they feel reassured that they have chosen the right mortgage product. ’
